Lakers Night at Dodger Stadium

Blue Heaven on Earth got a temporary Purple and Gold makeover Tuesday night when Dodger Stadium played host to Lakers Night.

Second year guard Jordan Clarkson was on hand to represent the organization along with the Lakers Girls and the 1988 Larry O'Brien trophy.

The San Antonio native attended his first ever MLB game and made the most of it, immediately donning a custom number six Dodgers jersey and heading down to field level.

Meanwhile, over in right field, the two symbols of the respective team's success took their places for photo ops.

Clarkson's limited experience with the hardball didn't stop him from jumping right into some warmup tosses along the third base line.

Who better to get advice from about pitching from Dodger Stadium's legendary bump...

Ok, maybe this guy...

After a quick interview on the videoboard and a photo op with the squad:

It was finally time for the moment of truth. J.C. stepped to the mound, did it a little shimmy, and fired a strike right down the middle to A.J. Ellis.

With all the formal events concluded, Jordan grabbed a seat to see what big league baseball is all about.

Big thanks to the Dodgers organization for hosting us and to all the fans for the support.

And the right team got the win.
