Smith made the most of his opportunities as a senior at Georgetown, leading the Big East in both offensive rebound percentage (15.5) and player efficiency rating (28.2). Using his massive frame, the 23-year-old also hit 131 of his 211 shots (62.1 percent).
“In college a lot of times you guard guys who play (center) in college, but if they have a chance to get to the league they’re (forwards),” Smith said. “Hopefully if I have a chance to make it, I can go against guys more of my size.”

Selected to the All-Big East Second Team, Stainbrook ranked near the top of the conference in several categories. He placed second in 2-point percentage (62.1) and offensive rating (122.3), third in player efficiency rating (25.3), and sixth in rebounds (6.9).
“If I could be a big body that clogs up the paint or gets in people’s way,” Stainbrook said. “I’m never gonna be the guy who’s jumping up and blocking anyone’s shot like that. I can take up space and pass out of the post, too. I think I’ll be able to spread the court a lot.”
