Camp Lakers 2013

We are excited to announce that our 14th annual summer basketball camp will again be a Day Camp held at the NEXT LEVEL SPORTS COMPLEX in Garden Grove, CA. This facility features 11 full indoor courts in an innovative, championship level sports complex located conveniently near the 405 and 22 freeways. Camp Lakers will again include world-class instruction from Lakers staff and players.

Camp Lakers focuses on providing young players with a program that improves their overall basketball skills in a fun and challenging environment. We strive to instill in all camp participants the importance of hard work, teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship both on and off the court. Our camp is designed to help players of all skill levels and abilities and promotes learning from a positive coaching environment.

2013 CAMP INFORMATION

WHO: Boys & Girls Ages 9-18 (No High School Graduates)

WHAT: Day Camp, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

WHERE: NEXT LEVEL SPORTS COMPLEX

DAY CAMP SESSIONS

Session 1: Monday, July 1 - Thursday, July 4

Session 2: Monday, July 8 - Thursday, July 11

CAMP HIGHLIGHTS

Each Camper Receives: Official Lakers camp reversible tank top, Lakers bag and a player skill evaluation form.

Camp program consists of offensive and defensive drill stations, league play, playoffs and awarded skills contests.

Each camp will feature guest lectures by current and former Lakers' players, coaches, and staff. We cannot commit to who the lecturers will be due to the many charitable events players/coaches attend during the off-season.

Instruction by the finest high school and college coaches with a 10:1 camper to coach ratio.

Campers are grouped by age and ability through a draft process on the first day of camp.

Refund Policy: If you cancel at least three weeks prior to the first day of that session, you may receive a refund less $150.00 administration fee. There will be no refund if cancellation occurs less than three weeks before camp begins. No exceptions as camp will be sold out! Campers who must leave due to illness or injury will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days they attended. No refunds will be given to campers who voluntarily leave camp (i.e. – Homesickness, schedule conflicts, etc).

Use of these school premises has been granted pursuant to the provisions of Sections 17400, et seq., of the Education Code of the State of California to Los Angeles Lakers from the Board of Education of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Board of Education does not sponsor or take responsibility, nor does it necessarily endorse any of the activities, statements or opinions which may be expressed at this meeting or activity.
