Here is a by-the-numbers look at the Lakers’ 93-80 loss to the defending-champion San Antonio Spurs:

Baskets made by a sick Kobe Bryant. The 36-year-old finally made his first shot of the night at the 11-minute mark in the fourth quarter and didn’t hit another, going 1-for-14 from the field. Bryant, who entered the game as the NBA’s scoring leader with 27.5 points per game, finished with just nine points, primarily by going 7-for-9 at the free throw line.

”I didn’t feel too good,” he said. “But, you know, I’m used to playing through that (sickness). It’s just tough. Tonight was just one of those nights where it makes me really remember the challenge of being 36 and being 19 years in.”

Rebounds by Jordan Hill, including five offensive boards that boosted his league-best average to 4.7. Hill had a rough shooting night (4-for-13), but nonetheless reached 10 points to record his third double-double of the season.

Points scored by Carlos Boozer. The Duke alum went 8-for-13 to lead all players in scoring. Boozer continues to find his rhythm, as he is averaging 17.8 points on 58.0 percent shooting (29-for-50) in the team’s past four games.

Assists dished out by the Spurs. Of San Antonio’s 33 baskets, 84.8 of them were created by assists. The Spurs’ assist tally was a season high and also matched the total number of baskets made by the Lakers, who went 28-for-75 (37.3 percent) from the field.

Points scored by Tim Duncan in his career. The 17-year veteran became the 19th member of the 25,000-point club with 2:15 left in the first half. He finished with 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting and also notched his sixth double-double of the season with 11 rebounds.

”The guy is unbelievable,” Manu Ginobili said. “As long as (Duncan) keeps going, he’s going to keep achieving things and getting to those incredible milestones. (He’s) going by some legends, but he’s already a legend. He’s one of the best players I’ve ever played with.”
