How it Happened
The Knicks returned home after a two-game road trip to play their fourth game in five nights, against a team with aspirations of contending for the Western Conference crown. Behind 25 points and nine assists from MVP candidate James Harden, Houston shot 53 percent from the floor and 44 percent from 3 en route to a 120-96 win.
It was a game filled with exciting plays for the young Knicks, but not nearly enough to compete with Houston's veteran firepower.
Travis Wear led the Knicks with 21 points, followed by Langston Galloway (19) and Cleanthony Early (16).
Knick of the Night
Galloway earns the honor for his electrifying Madison Square Garden debut. After making his first NBA appearance last night in Washington, he was efficient (6 of 10 from the floor, 3 of 4 from 3) and ignited the crowd with a handful of highlight plays.
