NYK 82, CHA 110: Hornets Too Much in MSG Matinee

How it Happened

The Knicks trailed by just three points after one quarter, but as the game progressed, Charlotte would pull away for a 110-82 win in a Saturday matinee at Madison Square Garden.

Without Carmelo Anthony (knee), Amar'e Stoudemire (knee) or Andrea Bargnani (calf), New York shot just 39 percent from the field against the Hornets.

Quincy Acy scored 18 points to pace the Knicks. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 15 points and Cole Aldrich contributed 12 rebounds. Kemba Walker led all scorers with 28 points.

Knick of the Night

Acy got the crowd going by scoring 16 of his 18 points in the 4th quarter. He shot 3 of 4 from downtown.

Next Up

The Knicks are off to London, where they'll face the Milwaukee Bucks next Thursday. Anthony has said he hopes to play.
