Knicks Top Dallas In Summer League Opener

The Knicks opened Summer League play with a decisive 76-64 win over the Dallas Mavericks today at Cox Pavilion.

Led by 2nd year guard Tim Hardaway's game-high 25 points, New York came out with great energy and maintained control throughout the game, picking up the maximum available four points in the victory.

Rookie Cleanthony Early scored 13 points in his pro debut and Cole Aldrich added nine points and 14 rebounds while dominating the paint with three blocked shots.
