SACRAMENTO, CA, December 21, 2010 -- As part of Maloof Sports & Entertainment’s ninth annual “Season of Giving,” Kings player and reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans joined proud Kings partner Wells Fargo to surprise 100 local children from The Salvation Army with an exclusive bike donation during tonight’s Kings-Warriors game. In addition to meeting Evans while receiving their new bikes during a special halftime presentation on the Kings court, each child also received a helmet.

“The holiday season is a special time to give back to others,” said Evans. “I wanted to go above and beyond to put smiles on some young faces, so I teamed up with our friends at Wells Fargo to make this happen and it means a lot to me.”

“Wells Fargo understands the great need in our community,” said Regional Vice President of Wells Fargo, Kings Ambassador and Wells Fargo Foundation Manager Chevo Ramirez. “That is why we’re pleased to join Tyreke Evans in helping brighten the holiday for these children.”
