Sacramento Kings Launch Hindi Website

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento Kings today launched a new section of the team's website dedicated to its rapidly growing Hindi-speaking fan base from around the globe.

By logging on to www.kings.com/hindi, fans have access to feature stories, player profiles, interviews, game information, and other Sacramento Kings content written entirely in Hindi.

Kings Chairman and Majority Owner, Vivek Ranadivé, himself from Mumbai (formerly Bombay), has spoken often on connecting with a global fan base starting with the rapidly growing Asian markets.

"A key facet of our ownership group's vision is for the Kings to become India's home team," said Kings President Chris Granger. "Between our dance team performing in India this summer, a live telecast on Sony Six for our home opener, and the launch of the website, we are committed to reaching out to India, and all of Asia, in a comprehensive way. This is just the beginning."

The Kings have several India-related activities and initiatives planned for opening night and beyond. Notably, a contingent of Indian media will travel to Sacramento to cover the Kings home opener, reflecting increased interest in the team abroad.
