Less Than 500 Tickets Remain for Kings-Lakers

--Saturday’s contest features 15-time NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant, two-time League MVP Steve Nash and three-time Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard--

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., Mar. 25, 2013 – Less than 500 tickets remain for Saturday evening’s 7 p.m. contest against the L.A. Lakers at Sleep Train Arena as Sacramento attempts to defeat Kobe Bryant and Co. for the second time this season.

The Kings earned a 113-97 home triumph over the Lakers on November 21 behind strong performances from Marcus Thornton (23 points on 8-of-13 shooting) and Tyreke Evans (18 points to accompany six assists and four rebounds), overcoming Bryant’s 38-point outburst.

Sacramento will enter play on Saturday sporting a three-game home winning streak against the Lakers dating back to the 2011-12 campaign. Also on the line is the Kings 7-0 record this season at Sleep Train Arena when drawing crowds of 15,200 or more (victories over Golden State (11/5), Lakers (11/21), Orlando (12/7), New York (12/28), Boston (12/30), Utah (2/9), and Houston (2/10).

Following its tilt vs. Los Angeles, the Kings will host James Harden and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, April 3 proceeded by a matchup with Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, April 5.
