Kings Recall Ray McCallum From Reno Bighorns

SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento Kings have recalled rookie guard Ray McCallum from the team’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns, it was announced today by General Manager Pete D’Alessandro. McCallum will join the Kings in New Orleans and be available to play in tonight’s game against the Pelicans.

Assigned to the Bighorns on January 13, McCallum averaged 18.5 points (.469 FG%, .467 3pt%, .700 FT%), 2.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.5 steals and 34.3 minutes per game in four contests. McCallum scored in double-figures in each of the four games and twice tallied 20 or more points in helping the Bighorns improve to 13-10 overall and a 3-1 record during his assignment. In seven games with Reno this season, McCallum is averaging 20.0 points (.462 FG%, .393 3pt%, .679 FT%), 3.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 35.7 minutes per game. McCallum has scored in double-figures in all seven games, including four times in which he posted 20 points or more.

With the Kings, McCallum is averaging 0.9 points (.333 FG%, .250 3pt%), 0.5 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 2.8 minutes per game in eight games off the bench.
