Preview: Kings (20-32) vs Celtics (33-18)

Winners of seven straight, the Boston Celtics enter tonight’s matchup with the Kings at Golden 1 Center as one of the hottest teams in the League. The team has catapulted into the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, quickly closing their gap with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In their most recent game, the Celtics won 107-102 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Led by Isaiah Thomas’ 28 points, Boston had seven players record scoring outputs in double digits. The team effort was enough to hold off the Clippers duo of Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford, who each scored 23 points.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings come into the contest following a close 112-107 loss against the Chicago Bulls. The Kings made a valiant comeback in the second half, regaining the lead after a 27-point deficit. However, the attempt came up just short due to clutch play down the stretch by Dwyane Wade.

The game against the Celtics will be the third game of a six-game homestand for the Kings.
