Kings Front Office Identifies Range of Potential Draftees

Following Tuesday’s Pre-Draft Workout, Kings Director of Scouting and advisor to the GM Mike Bratz chatted with media regarding June’s NBA Draft.

Sacramento currently holds two selections in the 2016 Draft, slotted at eighth overall in addition to the 59th and second-to-last pick of the second round. Specific to the eighth selection on June 23, Bratz says the Kings VP of Basketball Operations and GM Vlade Divac and the team have “identified a group of players that will be in range.”

Just over three weeks away, the Kings Director of Scouting expects there to be a few surprises in this year’s Draft, but is confident that Sactown will be ready for any and every scenario that may arise on Draft day.

On whether that means the Kings may have to maneuver their draft positioning, the Director of Scouting says the team is “always looking to do something,” and will continue “doing its homework on a range of players.”

In the meantime, the squad will continue holding Pre-Draft workouts while scouting agent workouts for potential draftees that have yet to participate in a session hosted by the Kings.
