This Tuesday, June 20, dancers from ages 6–to-18 are invited to the first Jr. SKD Dance Camp at Golden 1 Center. The dance camp will feature a full routine taught by your favorite Sacramento Kings Dancers.
Broken down by age group and ability, campers will learn and practice different segments of the routine and then perform together at the conclusion of the camp. Throughout the day, campers will learn from current and past professional dancers on how their experience has helped shape who they are today.
Parents are welcome to join for the final performance and rally with Slamson and Kings emcee Scott Freshour, to cheer on the campers at 3:15 p.m.
With registration, campers will receive an exclusive Jr. SKD Dance Camp t-shirt along with a post-camp group photo. T-shirts will be given upon check-in. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and snacks as there will be no access to microwaves.
The cost is $75 per dancer in advance, and $100 per dancer at the door. There is a group discount for 10+ dancers at a rate of $65 per dancer. More specific details on where to enter and what to bring will be sent to you once you have signed up for the camp.
