Inside the Gym with Skal

Coming off a strong Summer League showing in which he averaged a team-high 11 points to go along with five rebounds, Skal Labissiere has continued to put in work in preparation for his inaugural NBA campaign.

When he’s not busy making an impact in the community, Labissiere is pouring his energy into continuing to improve his game.

During the Kentucky product’s introductory press conference in late June, he highlighted his ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the basket face-up, while also committing to increasing his strength so he can flourish in the paint.

“As I get stronger and bigger, I’ll be more effective down low because I have a postgame too,” said Labissiere.

Since then, No. 3 has put his words into action by frequenting the gym.

As evident by the Instagram video he posted on Thursday, the forward-center is also working on his long-range game.

With just over a month to training camp, there’s no question Skal will be ready for his first NBA chapter.
