Can Cousins Continue Dominance Over Denver?

History would suggest that Kings All-Star big man DeMarcus Cousins is due for another big game on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets.

Coming off of an impressive 37-point, 20-rebound effort on Friday night, Boogie looks to continue his dominance against the team from the Mile-High City.

"(Cousins) was flat-out amazing. They couldn't stop him," said Darren Collison following the win on Friday.

Cousins became 12th player to have at least 37 points, 20 rebounds and four blocks since 1983-84 and the first since Minnesota’s Kevin Garnett had 37 points, 22 rebounds and five blocks on Feb. 16, 2003 against Golden State.

Additionally, no Kings player has tallied those numbers in a game since 1983-84. Cousins also passes Chris Webber (eight) for the most 20-point, 20-rebound double-doubles in the Sacramento era.

Over the past three seasons (six games), Cousins is averaging 29.1 points, 12 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game against Denver - some of his highest averages against any team in the Association.

No. 15, who has had two months this season with averages north of 30 points per game (November and January), can help his team inch closer to the eighth and final playoff seed with a win.
