Bhullar Set to Face Former Teammates

Sacramento's recently signed big man Sim Bhullar has yet to see any action through his first two regular season games with the squad.

Tuesday, he could make his NBA debut against some of his childhood friends.

In a contest he had to circle after being called up last week, Bhullar will match up with former AAU teammates - and former No. 1 overall picks - Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins.

In a recent interview with NBADLeague.com, Bhullar recalled his relationships with the two recent top picks.

"We're pretty much like one big family," Sim states, adding that Wiggins used to sleep over at his house and that "him and my brother are pretty much best friends."

The 2013 top pick also shares a long history with the 7-foot-5 center.

"Bennett and Sim's paths have coincided since they were 12 years old," writes Brian Kotloff for NBADLeague.com. "Now they work out together during the summer, share the same agent and keep in constant contact."

Regardless of the outcome of tonight's game, it will share a special place for four of its players.

Nik Stauskas, who also hails from Canada, will join the trio as the future of Canadian basketball steps on the Sleep Train Arena hardwood together for the first of many times.
