L.A. CLIPPERS RELEASE 2015-16 SCHEDULE

Team Set to Appear in 33 Nationally Televised Games; Single Game Tickets on Sale Thursday at 2:00 PM

The L.A. Clippers tip-off the 2015-16 NBA regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Sleep Train Arena against the Sacramento Kings. The following night the Clippers host the Dallas Mavericks at STAPLES Center in their home opener in a nationally televised game on TNT. The Clippers remain at home to face the Kings again on Halloween night at 7:30 p.m. on NBA TV.

Because of increased demand, single game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 13 at 2:00 p.m. PT. Approximately 1,000 tickets will be on sale per game. The Clippers play their first seven games in California, with road trips to Sacramento and Oakland to face the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, Nov. 4 and don’t leave the state until Nov. 11 when they travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks. Early season STAPLES Center highlights include a Western Conference Semifinals re-match against James Harden, Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets on Saturday, Nov. 7 and another game versus the Warriors on Thursday, Nov. 19.

The Clippers 33 nationally televised games is the highest number in franchise history, with the Clippers scheduled to appear four times on ABC, 10 times on TNT, 10 times on ESPN and nine times on NBA TV. Over the last four seasons, the Clippers have appeared in at least 29 nationally televised games each season. The Clippers regional broadcast schedule on Prime Ticket will be released at a later date.

Other notable games on the schedule include a matchup with the Lakers on Christmas Night and the lone visit of the season from Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, Jan. 31. The Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers visit Los Angeles on Sunday, Mar. 13 and the Warriors make their final STAPLES Center visit on Saturday, Feb. 20. The Clippers play Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve.

This season, the Clippers play 20 sets of back-to-back games and have five road trips of four games or more, including four five-game road swings (Dec. 7-Dec.14, Dec. 25-Dec. 31, Jan. 21-Jan. 27 and March 15-March 23). The longest home stretch for the team is six games from Nov. 25-Dec. 5.

The Clippers face every team in the Western Conference a total of four times (two home and two away), with the exception of the San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets, who they play three times each.

PRESEASON SCHEDULE

The Clippers begin their six-game preseason slate at home on Oct. 2 against the Denver Nuggets followed by a trip to Canada on Oct. 4 to play the Toronto Raptors in Vancouver, British Colombia as part of the NBA Canada Series. The Clippers return to China for the second time in franchise history to take part in two contests against the Charlotte Hornets, the first in Shenzhen on Oct. 11 and the second in Shanghai on Oct. 14. The team returns to STAPLES Center Oct. 20 to face the Warriors and ends the preseason at home against the Portland Trail Blazers on Oct. 22.
