CLIPPERS SET 2010 NBA SUMMER LEAGUE ROSTER

First round draft selections Al-Farouq Aminu and Eric Bledsoe as well as 2010 second round selection Willie Warren will join third year player DeAndre Jordan to form the nucleus of the Los Angeles Clippers’ entry in the 2010 NBA Summer League, who open summer league play against the Washington Wizards entry on July 12th in Las Vegas.

Also joining the Clippers’ entry in Las Vegas is Greek forward Sofoklis Schortsanitis, the Clippers second round selection (34th overall) in the 2003 NBA Draft. Schortsanitis averaged 9.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 31 Greek League games in 2009-10 for Olympiacos. Blake Griffin, the first overall selection in the 2009 NBA Draft, is expected to practice and be with the team on the bench during summer league games, however he will not play in any games.

The league will be comprised of 22 NBA teams as well as a team of NBA Development League Select players competing from July 9-18 at two venues in Las Vegas; the Cox Pavilion and the Thomas and Mack Center, both on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

The team will hold a three day mini-camp at the Los Angeles Clippers Training Center in Playa Vista on July 9th, 10th and 11th prior to leaving for Las Vegas. The Clippers roster and schedule for the 2010 NBA Summer League are listed below:
