HARDAWAY, BULLOCK, SNELL AND LEDO A PART OF STAR-STUDDED WORKOUT FOR CLIPPERS

Four potential first-round draft picks attended the Clippers’ pre-Draft workout Friday morning.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (Michigan), whose father is former Heat and Warriors star Tim Hardaway Sr., Tony Snell (New Mexico), Reggie Bullock (North Carolina) and Ricky Ledo (Providence) are all projected to fall somewhere in the final half of round one.

The Clippers, who own the 25th selection in the June 27 Draft, have expressed interest in finding a young, athletic wing player who can defend and score from the perimeter. All four players in Friday’s workout fit the bill in some way.

Hardaway is a slasher and improving shooter from distance, Bullock and Snell are dead-eye 3-pointer shooters and Ledo is a natural all-around scorer. They were joined by guards Brandon Paul (Illinois) and Ray McCallum (Detroit).

It is by far the most star-studded workout in the last three weeks for the Clippers. They brought in six point guards last week, including Pierre Jackson, Nate Wolters and fast-rising Myck Kabongo. The Clippers have also looked at stretch big men and a handful of post players, but appear intent on doing their diligence on the wing.

At least one prominent mock draft has linked the team to Hardaway, Snell or Ledo, including ESPN’s Chad Ford, Draft Express and Hoops World.
