CLIPPERS RELEASE 2010-11 SCHEDULE

With Blake Griffin, the number one pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, returning to join All-Star center Chris Kaman and point guard Baron Davis, the Los Angeles Clippers open the 2010-11 NBA season on Wednesday, October 27th at STAPLES Center against the Portland Trail Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

The Clippers then travel north to play the Golden State Warriors on Friday, October 29th before returning home to face the Dallas Mavericks in a Halloween showdown on Sunday, October 31st. The Clippers play four of their first five games at home before heading out on the road for their first multi-game trip of the season, a four-game in five-night set that begins on November 5th at Denver. The team then travels to Utah to face the Jazz on November 6th before concluding the trip with a back-to-back set against New Orleans and San Antonio on November 9th and 10th.

The Clippers will play 22 sets of back-to-back games in 2010-11. The Clippers have six road trips of three games or more this season, with the longest road stretch of the season being an eight-game trek from February 4th – February 16th that includes stops in Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, New York, Cleveland, Toronto, Milwaukee and Minnesota. The team then heads into the All-Star break and then opens the second half of the season on the road with Blake Griffin’s first return to his home state of Oklahoma with a match-up against the Thunder on February 22nd.

This season, the Clippers have 12 games featured on national television, appearing twice on TNT, four times on ESPN and six times on NBA TV. Other highlights on the schedule are home match-ups against the two-time defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, December 8th and Sunday, January 16th as well as a first meeting against LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the rest of the new look Miami Heat on Wednesday, January 12th. The defending Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics with newest acquisition Shaquille O’Neal come to town on Saturday, February 26th.

Los Angeles faces every team in the Western Conference a total of four times (two home and two away), with the exception of the San Antonio Spurs, New Orleans Hornets, Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers, who they will play three times each.

Fans can catch all of the best action from the best locations by taking advantage of a monthly payment plan to secure their season tickets. The team is now accepting group deposits for all games, including both home games against the Lakers as well as the contest against the Miami Heat on January 12th. The Clippers are also accepting deposits on all lower level and upper level partial ticket plans.
