L.A. Clippers Announce DTLAC: Saturday Night Series Celebrating Downtown Los Angeles

November 6, 2015 - LOS ANGELES, CA – The L.A. Clippers are bringing L.A.’s love for a big night out  to downtown basketball with the launch of  DTLAC (www.clippers.com/DTLAC), exclusive to Saturday Night home games for the balance of the 2015-16 regular season.

Starting Saturday, Nov. 7 versus the Houston Rockets, DTLAC will be anchored by the player’s exclusive wearing of the team’s black alternate uniform at home. Fans are also encouraged to wear all-black on Saturday nights.

In addition to the black alternate uniforms, DTLAC will offer entertainment and fan experiences synonymous with good times in downtown LA:

Comedy: Funny or Die, the Emmy-winning leader of comedy entertainment, will produce original content for the video boards and live fan engagement.

Special Performances: Talent integration into anthem performances and across music and game entertainment, starting this Saturday with Multi-platinum breakout hip-hop duo from Mike WiLL Made-It's Ear Drummer Records/Interscope Records, Rae Sremmurd performing at half-time.

Lasers & Lights: Special lighting effects will be featured at each Saturday night game including lasers and LED wristbands.  The LED wristbands will be provided to every ticketholder, and will be synched with music, lighting and movement to blow minds and make fans part of the show.  

Swag: A limited-edition t-shirt featuring DTLAC will be available exclusively at the Team LA store.

All in Black: Fans are encouraged to wear black to every Saturday night home game.  Team LA Store locations at STAPLES Center will feature 15% off all black T-shirts during Saturday night home games. The Spirit Dance Team, Hoop Troop, DJ Dense, Armon and other entertainment teams will also wear black team gear for every DTLAC game.

VIP Experiences: Fans will have the chance to win VIP access to Hyde Club at STAPLES Center during the game.

DTLAC Block Parties: On Feb. 20 (versus Golden State Warriors) and March 20 (versus Atlanta Hawks), DTLAC Block Parties will feature music, eats, and games from DTLA.

The Unexpected: Surprise appearances and experiences at every DTLAC game.
