Camp Lakers
All five days of both sessions of Camp Lakers are held at The MAP Sports Facility in Garden Grove, California. The MAP Sports Facility features premium full indoor courts.
Camp Lakers features advanced and experienced basketball instructors, who teach with support and resources from the Positive Coaching Alliance and are overseen by members of the Lakers staff. Camp Lakers emphasizes the fundamentals of offensive and defensive basketball taught “the Lakers Way”. A combination of drill stations, games, league play, playoffs and awarded skill contests highlight an organized and structured week of fun for campers. Campers are grouped by age.
Who: Aspiring Basketball Players, Ages 8-17
Where: Monday – Friday: Both sessions will be held at The MAP Sports Facility located at 12552 Western Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92841
Session 1: Monday, July 8, 2024 – Friday, July 12, 2024
Session 2: Monday, July 15, 2024 - Friday, July 19, 2024
Time: Monday-Thursday 9am - 4pm, Friday 9am - 3pm
(Parent/Guardian pick-up must be completed within 15 minutes of end of camp for the day to avoid additional charges for extended supervision.)

Each Camper Receives:

- Instruction from coaches with a 10:1 camper to coach ratio
Lunch
Lunch and water will be provided each day. Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottle. Participants with dietary restrictions, medical conditions or food allergies should bring their own lunch. Please note that there are no refrigerators available at Camp.
Tuition
Tuition for each session of camp is $750 for all participants, with all tuition proceeds of the Camp benefitting the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation, which is the official team charity of the Los Angeles Lakers and is dedicated to helping underserved youth develop their potential by providing positive experiences and resources in education, health and wellness and sports.

If a camp participant outside of the United States attempts to use the Registration and Payment Form for camp participants in the United States, payment will be rejected, and your camp registration will not be approved.
Refunds
Camp Lakers registrants may request a refund of their tuition fees paid, less processing fees, at any time prior to the first day of the applicable camp session. No refunds are permitted on or following the first day of the camp session unless camp activities are cancelled by Camp Lakers.
Coaching & Supervision
Camp Lakers features coaches overseen by members of the Lakers’ staff. Members of the Lakers Community Relations staff are always on-site, as well as training and medical staff. Our on-site staff are primarily English speakers. Parents/Legal guardians are required to sign their camper out with their coach each day of camp.
Communication
All communication for Camp Lakers registered participants will be via email. Please check your spam and junk folders and add jrlakers@la-lakers.com to your safe senders/contact list.
