Creating Connection
Community Conversations
Held monthly, Community Conversations are an internal forum for employees to gain knowledge and freely discuss issues shaping the state and our country. Past Community Conversations have included discussions about inclusivity, narrowing the racial wealth gap, Asian heritage and building bridges of trust with law enforcement and the black community.

DEI Champions
During the NBA and WNBA seasons, we host a group of DEI Champions from across the Twin Cities to connect and fellowship with at a Timberwolves or Lynx game. This allows leaders alike to come together and share best practices on how to make our communities more inclusive for all.

Celebration Nights
Our Celebration Nights recognize and celebrate the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities of diverse communities. During the Timberwolves season, we host Native American Heritage Night, Pride Night, Black History Night, AAPI Night, Women’s History Night and Noches Éne-Bé-A Night.
