COVID-19 Screening

Yes, all guests must be screened by the Canines or take a rapid COVID-19 test prior to entering the arena.

No, if you or anyone in your travel party is signaled by a canine, all members of the party will not be permitted to enter the Arena. A staff member will notify you of the next steps regarding your ticket purchase.

Yes, if you'd prefer to not be screened by the Canine Team, please notify the closest Arena staff member and they will advise you on where to go for a different testing option. Note: the alternative testing method is of no cost to you but can take up to 45 minutes. You will not be permitted into the Arena until you are cleared by our testing provider.

Yes, all ticketed guests must be screened. However, parents are permitted to hold their children and babies during the screening.

Tickets

Yes, all tickets are digital and no paper tickets will be used at the Arena. Digital tickets allow for contactless entry and allow you to manage, access, transfer, and sell your tickets from the Miami HEAT App. Here are some tips on getting into the Arena with mobile tickets:

  1. Mobile tickets should be viewed on the device before proceeding through security gates.
  2. For a safer entry and movement throughout the building, please transfer mobile tickets to each member of your party prior to arriving at the Arena.
  3. Mobile tickets cannot be transferred after they have been scanned at the gate.
  4. Screenshots & printouts will not be accepted for entry.

First, open the Miami HEAT App. Tap the Menu button at the bottom of the screen, then tap Tickets. You will need to enter your Account Manager login or your Ticketmaster.com account login. This is the email address you used when you purchased or were transferred your tickets.

Once your account is connected, you can view, transfer, and resell tickets right from your phone. For more information and detailed instructions, visit heat.app

From the Miami HEAT mobile app or ticket email, select the Add to Apple Wallet/Google Pay button to add your ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Pay. When approaching the entrance, tap on the lock screen notification or open the Apple Wallet/Google Pay app to access your ticket. At the entry, hover your smartphone near the top of the ticket reader to scan into the Arena. The process is very similar to how you pay using Apple Pay/Google Pay.

Our dedicated team of experts – the A-Team – is ready to help ensure that every ticketholder can enter the Arena as quickly and safely as possible! The A-Team can assist with digital ticketing and are prepared to answer your questions on the spot. They can be found at all entry gates and outside of the Tissot Ticket Center. They can also be found outside Section 115 throughout the entire game. Team members are easily identifiable by their white A-Team polos.

Currently, seats are sold on an individual game basis and will be based on availability. Any changes will be announced to Season Ticket Members and HEAT Elite Members.

Seats purchased to HEAT home games can be resold on Ticketmaster's Resale Marketplace. If you purchase tickets and cannot attend a game, you also have the option to transfer the tickets to your guests.

Seating availability is based on each individual game's seating inventory and could change game to game.

Season Ticket Members and HEAT Elite Members will have the option to maintain their seat locations for the 2021-22 season. It will be determined at a later date if Members' specific seats will become available during the course of the 2020-21 season.

All guests must enter the Arena through Gate 1 or 5. Gate 3 will be open for ADA only.

Parking

Yes, all parking tickets will also be digital. If you have a Parking Pass for Bayside Marketplace, P2 Parking Garage, or the World Center garage, the pass will load like a ticket into the Tickets area on the HEAT App and you will scan your smartphone as you enter the garage.

A limited number of parking passes inside the Arena's P2 Garage will be made available for purchase on an individual game basis. These passes will be sold online on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Mandatory Mask Policy

Yes, all guests over the age of two must always wear a face mask, unless consuming food & beverage. Note: all food & beverage must be consumed in designated eating areas.

Approved face masks include KN95, N95, cloth and surgical. The following face masks are not permitted: bandanas, gaiters, and masks with ventilators. If a guest arrives wearing a bandana, gaiter, or mask with a ventilator, they will be provided a new face mask by Arena staff.

A face mask will be provided by Arena staff. Please notify an Arena staff member to request one.

In-Seat Experience

To maintain proper physical distancing while also accommodating as many Members as possible, individual game seating is being sold in pairs and groups of four. If you require an odd number of seats for an upcoming game, please contact your service representative directly for assistance.

To follow proper physical distancing protocols, the Arena seating map has temporarily changed. These necessary modifications have eliminated the majority of Members' seating locations. Seating inventory will vary game-to-game.

Yes, Members that purchase tickets to upcoming HEAT games will be able to move about the Arena to access common areas such as the Arena concourses, restrooms, and designated food & beverage locations.

Food & Beverage

All concessions stands inside the Arena concourse are currently closed, however Fan Favorites including Kosher offerings, Papa John's Pizza, Mojo Donuts, FIT salads and Bacardi Cocktails & more are being sold on the East and South Plazas located outside of sections 112/113 only. As the Arena has gone completely cashless, we accept all forms of digital payment including Apple Pay, Google Pay, tap to pay and all major credit cards.

To ensure the health and safety of our fans, all food & beverage must be consumed on the East Plaza. No food or beverage is allowed on the concourse or in the Arena bowl.

No food or beverage is permitted inside the Arena concourse or in your seats.

With the exception of special diet items for medical purposes and baby formula/food, the Arena prohibits outside food & beverage. Glass jars and bottles are prohibited.

Cashless

Cash-to-card kiosks will be available around the Arena for those who prefer not to use their own cards or who prefer to carry cash. Guests will be able to feed the cash into the machine and obtain a pre-paid debit card with the same amount with no transaction fee. These cards can be utilized as any other pre-paid debit card or credit card within the Arena as well as outside the Arena.

Accepted forms of payment are credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Arena Bucks (for Season Ticket Members only via the HEAT app).

Yes, the entire Arena, including all merchandise stations, concession stands, bars, and premium dining spaces, is now cashless.

To ensure the health and safety of our fans, all food & beverage must be consumed on the East Plaza. No food or beverage is allowed on the concourse or in the Arena bowl, including suites.

Apparel and headwear merchandise may not be tried on prior to purchase. During games, no refunds or exchanges will be permitted. However, you may return to the Main Store on the Mezzanine Level, the Store by the Bay, or non-Arena Miami HEAT Store locations during regular, non-game business hours for exchanges or refunds.

In connection with the 2020-21 NBA season, we have taken enhanced health and safety measures intended to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
