What is an NFT?
A non-fungible token (“NFT”) is a unique piece of digital content paired with “smart contracts”. An NFT could
be art, music, videos, or any other type of digital file, in some cases, that may be paired with real-world
assets. NFTs can be bought or sold and ownership is verified by the blockchain, a digital database used for
technologies like cryptocurrency. Each NFT has a unique identifying code that makes it one-of-a-kind. There
can be other digital copies of the art/music/video, but there is only one original NFT.
How will the auction work?
During the week of March 14, 2022, on each day (Monday - Thursday), ATL Hawks, LLC (“ATLH”) will release
ten (10) NFTs for auction. Some NFTs will have exclusive benefits attached to the NFT as further described
at each auction. See schedule and details below:
- All NFTs will be sold to the highest bidder, English auction style.
- Each NFT will have a starting bid price.
-
In order to bid on an item at auction, you must create a Dapper wallet account as described in question 7
below.
-
In addition, you must add at least the amount of funds per placed bid at auction to your Dapper account
and have funds available in your Dapper Balance before placing a bid (described further in Section 10
below). The funds in your Dapper Balance must meet or exceed your bid amount. For information on Dapper
Balance and how to add funds to your Dapper Balance, please see questions 10 & 11 below.
-
Your Dapper Balance will be charged the full amount of your bid at the time placed until the auction has
been finalized.
-
If you are outbid, then your Dapper Balance will be refunded less any services fees associated with
such bid.
-
If two bids of the same amount are placed at the exact same time and both show up in the bid history,
then the bid processed first (as determined by the database identifier) will be considered the valid
bid and the Dapper Balance for such valid bid will be charged.
- Once a bid is placed, it cannot be retracted.
-
Any new highest bid that is placed within under 10 minutes remaining in an auction will extend such
auction by an additional 10 minutes in order to allow users who have been outbid a chance to increase
their bids.
-
Once each auction ends, payment will be collected from the winning bidder. The payment will be withdrawn
from your Dapper Balance and your Dapper account will reflect the change immediately.
-
If you lose the auction, you will be able to withdraw your funds from your Dapper Balance by the
following methods: wire transfer to your bank account, ACH transfer to your bank account (if your bank
account is linked to Dapper), or you can convert your funds to USDC (cryptocurrency) and transfer the
tokens to any wallet that accepts USDC. These options all have different fees associated with them, which
such fees will be disclaimed at the time of conversion by Dapper.
At the end of each auction, each of the highest bidders will receive their Atlanta Hawks NFT(s) in their
corresponding Dapper wallet.
When does each auction begin?
Each day, ATLH will release a new set of 10 NFTs for auction as set forth in the table above.
Is there rarity/difference in the NFTs?
All 40 NFTs will be unique and feature different variations of the Harry the Hawk digital art.
