2020-21History of the Program
The Chicago Bulls and BMO identified an opportunity to combine their networks and global platforms to help small businesses in Chicago. This shared commitment to generate access to opportunities and drive positive change across the city resulted in the Business Spotlight Program. Each year, the Bulls and BMO strategically select local small businesses that are making a difference in the city, spending a month during the season to tell each of their stories in the words of their founders.
Since its inception, the program has proudly spotlighted more than 30 businesses that actively uplift their communities. Whether providing crucial financial advice or amplifying their founding story to thousands of Bulls fans, the Bulls and BMO introduced businesses to the tools and communities that would allow them to take their operation to the next level. Together, the Bulls and BMO remain committed to empowering local entrepreneurs by using the power of their platforms and providing access to business resources in an effort to build a stronger Chicago.
