Yes
Boys and girls between the ages of 6-17

No. For the West Valley Camp, everything begins at West Point High School in the morning and ends there each day. For the Southeast Valley Camp, everything begins at ALA Gilbert North and ends there each day. And for our North Valley Camp, everything begins at Thunderbird High School and ends there each day. You will always drop off and pick up your camper at those locations respectively. We use other nearby high school or junior high gyms for additional court space so that the kids have enough space for drills and games.

The youngest two groups will stay at the main location while the older groups will be bussed to other locations using certified high school union district busses and drivers.

Campers will do all drills/station work within their age category. They will play basketball games against the other teams in their age division. They will also receive instruction on offensive and defensive concepts and have guest speakers throughout the week. The kids spend the majority of their time playing basketball.
Space is limited. There are approximately 400 campers at the camp. Camp has been sold out by mid-May the past few years.
Former ASU head basketball coach Bill Frieder directs the coaching of the camp. The coaching staff is made up of former basketball players at high school, collegiate or professional level.
Campers are provided with meals on Day 2, Day 3, and Day 4 of camp. The meals are box lunches with ham or turkey sandwiches along with chips, string cheese and a drink. Campers are welcome to bring their own lunch from home if they would like something else or to accommodate special dietary needs.
We strive to have someone from the Suns organization in attendance at the camp for one hour per day. The goal of the camp, however is to better the camper’s skills, not simply to get an autograph from Suns celebrities.
Parents or family members are welcome to be in any of the gyms at any time to watch camp.
A camp trainer will be at each camp location every day. Minor injuries will be treated and parents will be informed. Any other injuries that are not an emergency, parents will be called and included in any treatment decisions.

All campers should be ready to play and dressed in basketball attire (athletic shorts, socks, basketball shoes). Caps/hats should not be worn to camp. Please take off all jewelry and leave it at home. Campers will be given a reversible jersey at check-in that they need for every day of camp.

Basketballs will be available at camp. Please DO NOT bring personal basketballs from home.

Yes! Your camper MUST have their jersey every day or they will not be able to participate in games.
