The Timberwolves Academic Achievement program provides a platform to incentivize and reward students for accomplishments in the classroom. Accomplishments may range from honor roll status, perfect attendance, increased GPA, and/or positive behavior. The use of this program is up to the discretion of the school and is free of cost for the school to participate in.

The Timberwolves Career in Sports program is an exclusive opportunity to learn what it takes for Timberwolves staff to navigate their careers in a competitive sports industry. This program provides unprecedented access to the best in the business in an effort to help others advance their career in sports.

We are proud to host local and national alumni groups at our home games to socialize and cheer on their favorite former college basketball stars that are now in the NBA.

This season and beyond, the Minnesota Timberwolves will partner with Minnesota colleges to provide students in sales, marketing, and other business classes hands-on experience in the world of sports sales. Students will receive training, sales material, and consistent communication throughout the semester.

The month-long program challenges students to stay active outside of the classroom. Students will receive a Timberwolves tracking sheet to track all activity at home. All physical activity counts, even something as simple as going for a walk!

Over the past 18 seasons, students from over 1,500 schools in Minnesota have read over 21 million pages and 15 million minutes through the Read to Achieve program. Your school can continue the success of this FREE program by encouraging more students to spend their spare time reading.
