Rudy Gobert

To miss Game 2 Gobert was added to the team's injury report earlier in the day due to a personal matter, and he's since been downgraded to out after Charania confirmed the birth of Gobert's first child. Look for Naz Reid, who put up 16 points in Game 1, to enter the starting lineup in Gobert's absence.

Victor Wembanyama

Brings home ROY honors Wembanyama was the clear favorite for this year's Rookie of the Year honors, averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.6 blocks in 29.7 minutes per appearance (71 games) during his first NBA campaign. It's also worth noting that the 7-4 center is one of three finalists for the 2023-24 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award, which speaks to the monumental impact he had on both ends of the court this season for the Spurs.

Tyrese Haliburton

Officially gets green light As expected, Haliburton will continue to play through a back issue that flared up ahead of Game 4 of the opening-round series versus the Bucks. After landing on the injury report, Haliburton averaged 19.0 points, 6.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game over the final three matchups against Milwaukee.

Tyrese Haliburton

Expected to play Given it's the playoffs and he didn't miss time during the opening-round series versus Milwaukee, Haliburton was already considered more probable than questionable, so this isn't a surprising update. After the back spasms flared up, Haliburton played 32.7 minutes over the final three matchups against the Bucks compared to 40.3 minutes across the first three games, though one of those was an overtime contest. Even if he was a bit limited, Haliburton remained productive despite the back issue, as he averaged 19.0 points, 6.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds after landing on the injury report.

Ty Jerome

Ruled out for Game 1 Jerome hasn't suited up since late October due to ankle surgery. He'll remain sidelined to begin the Cavaliers' second-round series, and it's unclear when or if he'll be able to return during the playoffs.

Craig Porter

Still out Porter didn't play during the opening-round series and will remain sidelined to start the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Even if the undrafted rookie is cleared, he isn't guaranteed any playing time in the postseason.

Dean Wade

Remains out Wade hasn't played since March 8 due to a right knee sprain. It's unclear if he'll be cleared at any point during the Eastern Conference Semifinals, but unless Cleveland provides an update, Wade can be considered day-to-day.

Jarrett Allen

Iffy for Game 1 Allen averaged 17.0 points, 13.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks in 31.8 minutes through the first four games of Cleveland's opening-round series versus the Magic. However, after taking a shot to the ribs from Franz Wagner, the Cavaliers' starting center was sidelined for the final three matchups. Allen was also listed as questionable ahead of all the games he missed, so the tag doesn't provide much optimism heading into the Eastern Conference Semifinals. If Allen gets the green light, he'll look to take advantage of a frontcourt that'll be without Kristaps Porzingis (calf).

Olivier-Maxence Prosper

Remains out for Game 1 This will be the fifth game in a row on the shelf for Prosper, and he remains without a timetable for a return.

Tim Hardaway

Available for Game 1 This was the expectation when Hardaway made it through practices on Sunday and Monday. While this is great news for Dallas, it will be interesting to see how many minutes he's allotted because he's been struggling mightily with his shot.

Luka Doncic

Probable for Game 1 Doncic also dealt with a knee injury for most of the Mavericks' first-round series but wasn't forced to miss any time. He maintained a high level of production, averaging 29.8 points, 9.5 assists and 8.8 rebounds in 42.5 minutes per game. The 25-year-old should continue to be available for the start of the second round.

Rudy Gobert

Late addition to injury report This is certainly a concerning development for the Timberwolves, who were able to steal Game 1 on the road Saturday. The specifics of the situation remain unclear, but Gobert wasn't present for Minnesota's morning shootaround. If he's unavailable, Naz Reid, who had a stellar fourth quarter in Game 1, would be a candidate for increased minutes, but Karl-Anthony Towns would likely start at center.

Tim Hardaway

Goes through practice Hardaway also practiced on Sunday and continues to trend in the right direction. There should be additional clarity on his status for Game 1 against the Thunder on Tuesday when the Mavericks release their official injury report Monday evening.

Evan Mobley

Pulls down 16 boards in Game 7 Mobley was forced to move to center due to the absence of Jarrett Allen (ribs), but he delivered another solid performance down low, showing energy on the glass and an accurate touch near the rim. Mobley posted three double-doubles in the series against the Magic while scoring in double digits in all but one of his appearances. He should continue as Cleveland's starting center as long as Allen remains sidelined.

Donovan Mitchell

Carries Cleveland to Game 7 win The Cavaliers needed Mitchell to step up and deliver a superstar performance in Game 7 against a rising Orlando team, and that's exactly what he accomplished with this outing. Mitchell had some ups and downs in the series, but he often stepped his game up when the Cavaliers needed him, something that will be even more noticeable against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Mitchell averaged 28.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in the first round while putting up at least 28 points in each of the last three contests.

Wendell Carter

Close to double-double in Game 7 Carter started each of Orlando's final five games of the series and scored in double digits in three of those starts, so it's safe to say he was an upgrade over Jonathan Isaac, who started in the first two contests. Across his five starts in the series, Carter averaged 8.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.

Paolo Banchero

Explodes for 38 points Sunday Banchero did everything in his power to keep the Magic alive in the playoffs, but even though his stat line was magnificent, the struggles of Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner were too much for Orlando to overcome, meaning Banchero couldn't carry the team to the next round on his own. Despite the early playoff exit, the series against the Cavaliers fully established Banchero as one of the league's up-and-coming superstars. He averaged 27.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.1 steals across 37.4 minutes per game.

Darius Garland

Stuffs stat sheet in Game 7 win Garland struggled badly from the floor and finished with more field goal attempts than points scored, but the speedy point guard salvaged his fantasy performance by delivering decent numbers in other categories. The Cavaliers need Garland to play a more prominent role on offense during the Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup against the Celtics, however, as he only averaged 14.9 points per game while shooting 44.9 percent from the floor in the first round.

Jalen Suggs

Awful shooting in playoff exit Suggs didn't have a good series against the Cavaliers, and he was unable to operate as the third scoring option the Magic desperately needed at times. He was able to reach the 15-point mark in just two of the seven games during the series, averaging 14.7 points and shooting a mere 40.2 percent from the floor. Despite the playoff woes, Suggs' role as a starter for the Magic next season shouldn't be under any sort of question.
