CURRY'S DUEL-THREAT OFFENSIVE ARSENAL
Stephen Curry opened Friday's contest by dishing out five assists in the opening quarter, resulting in 10 points. Curry generated four open layups or dunks for his teammates in the frame, including a no-look dime to a cutting Dario Saric and an alley-oop to Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Curry was far more aggressive looking for his own shot in the second quarter, including a 92-second span where he hit three 3-pointers, followed by a shimmy celebration. Curry finished the quarter with 14 points on 4-for-6 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 from behind the arc.

KUMINGA STARTS 6-FOR-6
Jonathan Kuminga made each of his first six field goals, five coming in the restricted area. Kuminga scored 16 points in 11 minutes before his first miss. He made timely cuts and took high percentage shots. One play that stood out was when he received a crosscourt pass from Chris Paul for a solid look at a 3-point attempt but instead made the extra pass to a more open sharpshooter in Klay Thompson, who knocked down the trey.

Kuminga finished with 22 points on 9-for-11 shooting — his third game this season with at least 20 points.

CONSECUTIVE DOUBLE-DOUBLES FOR JACKSON-DAVIS
Rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis nearly recorded his double-double in the first half, scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds. Jackson-Davis shot 4-for-5 from the field in the half and all four of his made field goals were dunks.

He finished the game with his second straight double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Jackson-Davis is one of three current rookies to record back-to-back double-doubles with points and rebounds, joining Victor Wembenyama and Chet Holmgren.

CURRY ENGINEERS GAME-ALTERING THIRD-QUARTER RUN
The Warriors led by two after the first half (63-61) and opened the third quarter on a 10-2 run. Stephen Curry was involved in all 10 points, with an assist to begin and end the run and hitting back-to-back 3-pointers in between. Curry had some fun with the Warriors bench during the run, admiring his spectacular plays, capped by a no-look lob to Kevon Looney.

Curry's run set the tone for the rest of the quarter as he finished the frame with 13 points and the Warriors extended their lead to 18 (101-83). Because of how well he and the Dubs played in the third quarter, Curry spent the entire fourth quarter on the bench.

WELCOME BACK, JORDAN POOLE
Former Warriors guard Jordan Poole returned to Chase Center for the first time since being traded this past offseason. In his pregame introduction, the Warriors greeted Poole with a tribute video highlighting his best moments in the Bay, which included a championship with the Warriors in 2022. Dub Nation gave him a standing ovation for his contributions to the franchise over the previous four seasons.

Poole led the Wizards with 25 points in just under 27 minutes.
