The 48th overall pick in the 2018 draft, Bates-Diop began his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves before being traded to the Denver Nuggets at last season’s trade deadline. He averaged 6.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 44 games last season.

Report: Raptors reach 2-year deal with Bembry

Bembry was the No. 21 pick in the 2016 draft and has spent the last four seasons in Atlanta. Limited to 43 games last season due to a groin injury, Bembry averaged 5.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists.

The Lakers reportedly traded JaVale McGee to the Cavaliers to make room for Gasol.
Wojnarowski also reports Cleveland is trading Jordan Bell and Alfonzo McKinnie to the Lakers in the Gasol deal.
Gasol was originally drafted by the Lakers in 2007, but chose to remain in Spain before his rights were dealt to the Memphis Grizzlies as part of a deal for his brother Pau.

He should have plenty of opportunity off the bench for Milwaukee after the reported departures of guards Eric Bledsoe, George Hill and Wesley Matthews this offseason.
