Taking flight during games leads to some of the most exciting plays on the court, but to keep their bodies healthy it is important for players to learn how to land from big leaps safely. We regularly practice landing drills in many different ways. Here is a progression to practice safe landing position. For those learning good mechanics, this sequence can be used as part of a regular training session. For players who have mastered the mechanics, these drills can serve as a great addition to a warm-up.
