July 14th Game Recap: Wizards vs. Rockets

Wizards Take Down Rockets

The Wizards were in complete control on Saturday night as they took down the Houston Rockets, 76-70, in Game 2 of Las Vegas Summer League.

This was more of a complete and balanced effort from the Wizards squad as the scoring came from all around.

Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists in his second game as a Wizard. After dropping 22 in the opener, on Saturday night Beal was more of a playmaker and was looking to set up his teammates for some easy looks.

Shelvin Mack bounced back from Friday night's game in a good way and looked a lot more assertive on Saturday night vs. Houston. He ended the game with 11 points and three assists, including some fine alley-oop tosses.

Tomas Satoransky started to make a name for himself and wowed the crowd with some highlight reel dunks. He finished the game with 11 points and seemed to be more comfortable playing in the system.

Next, the Wizards play the NBA D-League on Sunday night at 10 p.m. (et).
