All-Star Weekend Recap

John Wall arrived at All-Star Weekend on Thursday and kicked things off by going through the NBA's media circuit.

Wall posed for pictures, answered questions, and stopped by for a Wizards Minute.

Behind the Scenes

After Wall finished the circuit, he took a ride over to the EA Sports facility to get a look at the upcoming NBA Live '13 video game. Wall was given an all-access pass and got to see some of the development that goes into making these games. Ricky Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves was also in the building taking a tour.

Behind the Scenes

Friday morning began with Team Chuck practice at NBA Jam Session. John Wall and his teammates had a good time out on the courts in a relaxed atmosphere.

The session was followed by media availability, where Wall answered questions about the Rising Stars Challenge. Wall was also interviewed by an SI for Kids correspondent, who seemed to be a bit star-struck when seeing Wall in person.

After the practice, Wall went to participate in the NBA Cares Day of Service by helping to build a playground in Central Orlando. He was joined by many of the other participants in the Rising Stars Challenge and together, they helped to put together different pieces of the playground.

After they finished, Wall stopped by to talk about the day in another Wizards Minute.

It was then time for the Rising Stars Challenge!

Wall put on a show in Friday night's Rising Stars Challenge as Team Chuck topped Team Shaq 146-133. Wall finished with 17 points, eight assists, and six rebounds, but his highlight reel dunks at the end of the game will be what the fans remember.

After the event, Wall was interviewed by TNT's Craig Sager and then stopped by for another Wizards Minute.

Saturday began with JaVale McGee's Flying Buddha event at NBA City Universal Studios in Orlando.

Wizards Guard Maurice Evans also made an appearance at the event and signed autographs alongside McGee. Afterwards, McGee and Evans talked about the event and their weekend in a Wizards Minute.

Saturday night featured John Wall competing in the Taco Bells Skills Challenge.

John Wall finished his first run with a time of 32.8 seconds, which had him tied with Rajon Rondo for the final spot in the second round. Unfortunately, Wall was then ousted by Rondo in the tie-breaker and was unable to move into the final round. Wall was still all smiles afterwards and enjoyed being a part of the experience.

Wall stopped by for one more Wizards Minute before calling it a wrap on All-Star Weekend.

It was an entertaining weekend full of laughs and good times for the Wizards' players who were in Orlando. They will have to turn the switch back into serious mode, as the second half of the season awaits. The Wizards will open the second half in Milwaukee on Tuesday night at 8pm (TV: CSN | Radio: 106.7 FM).
