The Spurs led from start to finish in San Antonio, topping the Wizards 92-79. The Wizards got as close as three in the second half but the Spurs responded with a big run to put the game away. Martell Webster led all scorers with 21 points and added 10 rebounds while Bradley Beal had 19 points. Six Spurs finished in double figures, led by Tony Parker with 16 and Boris Diaw with 15.

Key Moment

With 3:27 to go in the game, a Martell Webster bucket capped a 15-6 run which cut the Spurs once 19 point lead to just three. The Spurs immediately followed that though with a 16-0 run over the next five and a half minutes to put the game out of reach.

Player of the Game

Trevor Ariza had to leave the game due to a strained right hamstring and Martell Webster really stepped up. He finished with a double-double, going for 21 points on 8/16 shooting, 10 rebounds and added four steals.

28-15. The Spurs ball movement was on full display as they had 28 assists on their 39 baskets while the Wizards had 15 on their 33.

Unsung Hero

While nobody really fulfilled the unsung hero criteria tonight, Glen Rice, Jr. got his first extended run of the season and acquitted himself pretty well. He played 13 minutes and had two points, three boards, an assist and a steal.
