Covid-19 Ticket FAQs

GENERAL FAQs

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF THE 2019-20 NBA SEASON?

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced a proposed plan to resume the 2019-20 season in late July, with all remaining games to be played at a neutral site in Orlando, Florida. Wizards games previously scheduled to be played at Capital One Arena between March 13, 2020 and April 15, 2020 will no longer take place.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY FUNDS PAID TOWARD POSTPONED 2019-20 GAMES?

For all full season, half season, partial plan and group ticket accounts, we have automatically applied all funds previously paid toward games scheduled for the remainder of the 2019-20 season as a credit to your Wizards account.

WHAT IF I PREVIOUSLY RESOLD TICKETS VIA TICKETMASTER.COM FOR POSTPONED GAMES IN THE 2019-20 SEASON & RECEIVED PAYMENT?

All proceeds from resale transactions for previously scheduled games have been deducted from the value of your account credit, as all secondary market transactions will be reversed. No action is required on your part.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH CREDIT WILL CARRY OVER TO NEXT SEASON?

Your net ticket credit for the 2019-20 season is equal to the value of funds remaining on your account (including any applicable account credits) from the purchase of tickets for postponed games minus any applicable deduction for secondary market transactions as detailed above.

Please contact a Wizards representative to obtain a detailed financial summary of your account.
