The Washington Bullets & Wizards Alumni Association has partnered with the Howard County Times and Howard County Schools to award a Skills and Sportsmanship award weekly a varsity boy and girl basketball team member who exemplify outstanding play and sportsmanship. Local alumni rotate visiting the schools and presenting the awards each week.


  • The week of February 8th-14th honored Emileigh Scott, a Sophomore at Howard High and Will Robinson Jr., a senior at Oakland Mills High.
  • The week of February 1st-7th honored Kelly Simmons, a Freshman at Centennial High and Tom Brown, a Junior at Centennial High.
  • The week of January 25th-31st honored Jess Foster, a Freshman at Glenelg High and Brandon Willis, a Junior at Altholton High.
  • The week of January 18th-24th, honored Charlie Thomas, a Senior at River Hill and Anna Mitchell, a Senior at Centennial.
  • The week of January 11th-17th, honored Nick Oates, a Senior at Glenelg and Chelsea Mitchell, a Senior at Atholton High.
  • The week of January 4th-10th, honored Seth Henry, a Senior at Reservoir Beach High and Jayda Gilmore, a Senior at Howard High.
  • The week of December 14th-20th, honored Kevin Duckett, a Junior at Long Beach High and Tori Diggs, a Senior at Oakland Mills
  • The week of December 7th-13th, honored Isaiah White, a Senior at Centennial High and Gabrielle Green, a Junior at Mt. Hebron High.
