Surprising San Francisco and and Oakland School Districts with $250,000 Donation from Warriors Community Foundation and HPE
In honor of National Teacher Appreciation Day on May 5, the Warriors Community Foundation and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced a $250,000 contribution to the Oakland and San Francisco Unified School Districts to aid in COVID-19 relief efforts, which includes a $100,000 personal contribution from Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr. Each district will receive $125,000, and Warriors players and coaches announced the news with digital surprises on staff meetings and unsuspecting classrooms.
