Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent guards Jared Cunningham and Nick Zeisloft, it was announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.

Cunningham, 28, was originally selected by the Dallas Mavericks with the 24th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. He owns career averages of 2.3 points and 7.2 minutes in 84 games (three starts) with the Mavericks, the Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks. The 6’4” guard has also played internationally with Jiangsu Monkey Kings of the Chinese Basketball Association (2016-17), Bayern Munich of the Basketball Bundesliga (2017-18) and most recently with Basket Brescia Leonessa of Lega Basket Serie A (2018-19).

Zeisloft (ZIZE-loft), 26, began his collegiate career at Illinois State, playing two seasons with the Redbirds before transferring to Indiana University. After going unselected in the 2016 NBA Draft, the 6’4” guard signed with Fort Wayne of the NBA G League, where he appeared in 47 games (one start) and averaged 7.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per game. Zeisloft has also played internationally with BC Siauliai of the Lithuanian Basketball League (20017-18), Leonis Roma of the Italian second division (2018) and most recently Gipuzkoa Basket of the Liga ACB.

The Golden State Warriors have waived guard Andrew Harrison, center Kavion Pippen and guard Juan Toscano-Anderson, the team announced today.

Harrison appeared in five preseason contests for the Warriors, averaging 2.8 points in 5.9 minutes per game. Pippen saw action in four games for Golden State, averaging 2.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per contest. Toscano-Anderson played in five games for Golden State, averaging 2.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10.7 minutes.

The Golden State Warriors announced today that single game tickets for the 2019-20 preseason games at Chase Center will go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, August 27 with exclusive presale events before becoming available to the general public at 4:00 p.m.

The slate includes the first-ever game at Chase Center on Saturday, October 5 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers at 5:00 p.m., which marks the first NBA game in the city of San Francisco since January 29, 1971, when the Warriors defeated the Buffalo Braves, 106-100, at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium. Following the preseason opener on October 5, the Warriors will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m., and will welcome the Lakers again on Friday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m.

The first presale event begins at 9:00 a.m., exclusively for the team’s season ticket holders. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., Chase cardholders will have access to purchase single game tickets. At 12:00 p.m., the Warriors Season Ticket Priority Wait List presale will begin. All Warriors Insiders members will receive information to participate in a presale event, beginning at 2:00 p.m., before preseason tickets go on sale to the general public at 4:00 p.m.

The slate includes the first-ever game at Chase Center on Saturday, October 5 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, which marks the first NBA game in the city of San Francisco since January 29, 1971, when the Warriors defeated the Buffalo Braves, 106-100, at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium.

Following their preseason opener on October 5, the Warriors will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, October 10 before traveling to Los Angeles for a pair of matchups with the Lakers at Staples Center on Monday, October 14 and Wednesday, October 16. The Warriors return home for their fifth and final preseason tilt, again facing the Lakers on Friday, October 18. The Warriors’ 2019 preseason schedule will be played entirely within the state of California for the first time since the lockout-shortened 2011 preseason.
