Stephen Curry Lights Up Chase Center in Win Over Sixers

Curry One of Three Players With 37+ Points, 8+ 3-Pointers and 70+ FG% in a Game This Season

Stephen Curry scored 37 points — including 15 in the third quarter — in the Warriors' 119-107 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at Chase Center on Tuesday. Curry also finished a game-high plus-26 with a team-high eight rebounds and tied for a team-high seven assists. Jonathan Kuminga (26) and Andrew Wiggins (23) joined Curry to eclipse 20 points.

Despite being the shortest team in the league with an average height of 6'5, the Warriors limited the NBA's leading scorer, Joel Embiid — fresh off a 70-point game last week — to just 14 points on 5-for-18 shooting with eight turnovers.

CURRY SPARKS THIRD-QUARTER RUN 
The Warriors jumped out to a 21-9 run to begin the third quarter, with Stephen Curry scoring 15 of those points. Curry hit four 3-pointers, including a step-back splash in which he also drew a foul on former Warrior Kelly Oubre Jr. and converted the four-point play. 

With several members of the Super Bowl bound San Fransisco 49ers in attendance, Draymond Green played quarterback during the Warriors' third-quarter run, assisting on four field goals, including two Curry 3-pointers.

Stephen Curry became one of three players this season to score at least 37 points, hit at least eight 3-pointers and shoot over 70 percent (12-for-17, 70.6 FG%) from the field, joining Jalen Brunson and Luka Doncic. Brunson scored 50 points and hit nine 3-pointers on Dec. 15, and Luka Doncic scored 73 points — the most in a single game since Kobe Bryant — last Friday.

Rookie Brandin Podziemski was selected for the NBA's Rising Stars game, taking place during All-Star weekend. Podziemski started on Tuesday in place of Klay Thompson (illness), tallying 11 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
