Stephen Curry led all scorers with 32 points, while LeBron James led the way for the Lakers with 30 points, his first 30-point game of these playoffs. Winning his 41st career playoff series, James broke the tie with Derek Fisher for the most playoff series victories of any player in NBA history. Anthony Davis grabbed a game-high 20 rebounds and was a game-best plus-31.

PLAYOFF MILESTONES SET FOR WARRIORS CORE
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green end these playoffs with 98 playoff wins as a trio, the third most by a trio in NBA history, only trailing Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili (126) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson and Michael Cooper (110). Steve Kerr ends these playoffs with 99 career playoff coaching wins, tied with Red Auerbach for the seventh-most in NBA Playoff history.
CURRY ENDS PLAYOFF RUN AS LEADING SCORER
Stephen Curry scored 32 points on Friday and ended his 2023 playoff run as the top scorer in these playoffs with 396 points. Curry played in 13 playoff games and averaged 30.5 points. In the first round, Curry became the first player in NBA history to score 50 points in a Game 7.

OVERCOMING FIRST QUARTER AVALANCHE
Making nine of their first 12 field goals, including six straight to open the game, the Lakers jumped to an early 27-10 lead. On the other hand, the Warriors struggled mightily from the field, making only nine of their 29 field goal attempts in the quarter (31 percent). However, the Warriors weathered the storm, ending the quarter on a 16-4 run to cut the lead to five. Stephen Curry scored 12 points in the quarter, 11 of which came during that run.

SHOOTING WOES
Overall, the Warriors had a rough shooting night making 39 of their 103 field goal attempts and 13 of their 48 3-pointers. The Splash Brothers shot a combined 6-for-26 from behind the arc. On the other hand, the Lakers shot very well from the field (52 percent) and from three (50 percent). Austin Reaves even beat the halftime buzzer with a halfcourt shot from 54 feet out, the longest-made playoff field goal by a Lakers player in the last 25 playoffs (via ESPN stats and info).
THOMPSON REACHES 500 CAREER THREES
With his first 3-pointer of the game, Klay Thompson joined Stephen Curry as the only two players in NBA history to make 500 career threes (regular season and playoffs combined).
