Jordan Poole's Fourth Quarter Takeover
Trailing by nine entering the fourth quarter, the Dubs' rallied behind an explosive fourth quarter from Jordan Poole. Poole did a bit of everything in the final frame, with several crafty finishes around the rim and two clutch splashes from three. Up two with 1:20 remaining, Poole caught the pocket pass from Draymond Green in the left corner and drilled the dagger 3-pointer. He played all 12 minutes in the quarter and scored 19 points on 6-for-9 shooting.

Jordan Poole's 19 points in the fourth quarter marked his third-highest scoring quarter this season, only trailing his 23 second-quarter points against the Wizards on Jan. 16 and 22 points in the third quarter vs. the Clippers on March 2.

Splash Brothers Combine for 50 Points
Stephen Curry (29) and Klay Thompson (21) combined for 50 points on Friday. Despite a relatively quiet night from three (2-7 3PT), Curry found other ways to get his offense going. He opened the game with beautiful backdoor cuts and finished strong at the basket. Curry went 6-for-7 in the restricted area and shot 10-for-18 from the field overall. He also finished second on the team in rebounds (8) and was a game-high plus 20.

On the other hand, Klay Thompson did have his 3-point shot going. Thompson made seven shots on Friday, and six of them were 3-pointers. Two of those triples were fourth-quarter splashes, one cutting the lead to three and the other tying the score. In the process, Thompson surpassed Buddy Hield for the NBA lead in 3-pointers made this season (268) and also eclipsed 14,000 career points.

Overcoming Embiid's Dominance
Joel Embiid was a force from the opening tipoff. The NBA's scoring leader added 46 more points on Friday, with 19 coming from the free throw line. However, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney still did their best to make Embiid work for every bucket and the Dubs' took advantage when the Sixers' superstar went to the bench. The Sixers were a plus 13 when Embiid was on the court and a minus 21 when he sat. Heading into the game, Philadelphia had the highest 3-point percentage in the league, but the Dubs' held them to just 8-for-29 from distance (27.6%).
