FORMIDABLE TEST FOR DEFENDING CHAMPS
With back-to-back wins to close the road trip, the Warriors look to extend the winning streak to three against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. The Sixers, third in the East and winners of nine of their last 10, will be a good barometer for the Dubs as they gear up for the stretch run. The Warriors lost their previous matchup against the Sixers 118-106 on Dec. 16 in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA SCOUTING REPORT
Since Dec. 1, the Philadelphia 76ers have the best record in the NBA (37-13). The Sixers have won nine of their last 10 games and avenged their loss to the Chicago Bulls by scoring the game's first 17 points in a rematch just two nights later, en route to a 116-91 victory on Wednesday.
The Sixers are led by the NBA's leading scorer, Joel Embiid (33.2 PPG), who was first on NBA.com's recent MVP Ladder. Embiid won the scoring title last season and has finished as MVP runner-up in back-to-back seasons. From March 2 through March 20, Embiid recorded 10 straight games with at least 30 points and 50 percent shooting from the field, the second-longest streak by a center since Shaquille O'Neal's 11 straight in 2001.
To complement the dominant big man, the Sixers have playmaking guard James Harden, the league leader in assists (10.8 APG). Harden was once a multi-time scoring champion but has evolved his game into more of a facilitator. Averaging 21.4 points per game, Harden is one of three guards to average a double-double this season, joining Trae Young (26.8 PPG; 10.0 APG) and Tyrese Haliburton (20.8 PPG; 10.4 APG).
