HOUSTON SCOUTING REPORT
Despite being 16.5 games behind the 10th-place Lakers, the youthful Houston Rockets are still competing. They’ve won three of their last four games, playing the “spoiler” role in the Western Conference playoff race. Similarly to the Warriors, the Rockets are much better on their home floor, with twice as many wins at home (12) as on the road (6).

The Rockets’ young core has shown promising flashes and reason for optimism moving forward. Second-year guard Jalen Green has a knack for scoring, becoming a consistent 20 points per game scorer. In addition, versatile center Alperen Sengun leads the team in rebounds per game (8.8) and assists per game (3.8) while averaging nearly 15 points per game (14.7). Rookie Jabari Smith Jr. has struggled from behind the arc this season but is finding his stroke, up to 40.9 percent from three over his last 10 games.
