LOOKING FOR THE FIRST

The 3-13 Rockets have only recorded one home win this season, tied for the least in the NBA. This will be the first of four matchups between the two teams this season. KLAY FINDS RHYTHM
Klay Thompson recorded 20 points on a season-high 50 percent shooting in Friday night's win. He shot 8-for-16 from the field and 4-for-10 from 3-point range. His first 3-pointer of the night also moved him up into sole possession of 16th place on the NBA all-time 3-pointers made list, passing JJ Redick.

"It seemed like every time Klay just made an extra pass the ball started to move and then we got a wide-open shot," Steve Kerr said after Friday's game. "We ended up with 32 assists. So it started with early on just Klay taking a more patient approach. I thought he was great and then the game rewarded him. He made some big shots down the stretch and I just thought the quality of his attempts were much better tonight.”

HOUSTON SCOUTING REPORT
The 3-13 Rockets are currently sitting in 15th place in the Western Conference and have lost four of their last five games. Most recently, Houston lost 99-91 to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. The Rockets allowed just 10 Pacers points in the first quarter, and led by as many as 20 points in the game, but ultimately could not hold on. All five Houston starters scored in double figures, with Eric Gordon recording a team-high 24 points.

Five of the Rockets top-six leading scorers are age 22 or younger and the team has seven players who were selected in the first round of the 2021 and 2022 NBA Draft.
