Warriors Sign Damion Lee to Multi-Year Contract

The Golden State Warriors have signed guard Damion Lee to a multi-year contract, the team announced today. Lee signed a Two-Way contract with the team on July 31, 2019.

Lee, 27, has appeared in 26 games (13 starts) with Golden State this season, averaging 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 26.8 minutes per game. The 6’5” guard has scored at least 20 points five times this season, including a career-high 23-point performance to go with 11 rebounds on October 28 at New Orleans. On Christmas Day vs. Houston, Lee recorded his second career 20-point/10-rebound game with 22 points and a career-high 15 rebounds. In three NBA seasons with the Warriors and Atlanta Hawks, Lee owns career averages of 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20.2 minutes over 73 games (24 starts).

Lee, who also spent the 2018-19 season with the Warriors on a Two-Way contract, becomes the second player to have his Two-Way contract converted to a standard NBA contract by Golden State, joining Quinn Cook (2017-18). The NBA introduced Two-Way contracts prior to the 2017-18 season.
