The Golden State Warriors announced their 2011-12 Opening Night roster prior to tomorrow night’s season opener versus the Los Angeles Clippers at Oracle Arena. The Warriors currently have 14 players under contract.
December 19, 2011 Warriors Acquire Guard Brandon Rush From Indiana
The Warriors have acquired guard Brandon Rush from the Indiana Pacers in exchange for forward Lou Amundson. Rush, 26, appeared in 67 games (21 starts) for the Pacers last season, averaging 9.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in 26.2 minutes per contest.
December 15, 2011 Warriors Sign Free Agent Forward Dominic McGuire
McGuire, 26, played with the Charlotte Bobcats last season, appearing in 52 games (eight starts) and averaging 3.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per contest. In eight starting assignments, the 6’9” forward averaged 3.8 points and 7.4 rebounds.
December 14, 2011 Warriors Sign Free Agent Center Kwame Brown
The Warriors have signed free agent center Kwame Brown, the team announced on Wednesday. Brown, 29, played with the Charlotte Bobcats last season, appearing in 66 games (50 starts) and averaging 7.9 points and 6.8 rebounds in 26.0 minutes per contest.
December 13, 2011 Warriors Sign Rookies Klay Thompson & Jeremy Tyler
The Warriors have signed first round draft pick Klay Thompson and draft-night acquisition Jeremy Tyler to contracts. Additionally, the Warriors have signed free agents Julian Khazzouh (F/C), Tommy Mitchell (G), Tim Pickett (G) and Tommy Smith (F).

December 10, 2011 Warriors Sign Free Agent Forwards Gary Flowers and Chris Wright
Flowers, 25, played the last two seasons at Southern Mississippi, where he averaged 18.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest as a senior. Wright, 23, played the last four seasons at Dayton, where he averaged 13.0 points and 7.2 rebounds for his career.
Lin, 23, appeared in 29 games for the Warriors as a rookie last season, averaging 2.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest. Additionally, he appeared in 20 games for the Reno Bighorns in 2010-11, averaging 18.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

Jenkins, 22, was selected by the Warriors with the 44th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft after playing four seasons at Hofstra, where he was named Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons.
