Celebrating Star Wars Night on Warriors Ground

On Wednesday night, the Dubs celebrated the first-ever Star Wars Night at Chase Center.

Wednesday’s game marked the first-ever Star Wars Night at Chase Center, where the intergalactic theme beamed throughout the evening. The special night included out of this world performances and appearances by notable figures such as Darth Vader, Jedis and Stormtroopers. In an effort to recap the spectacular evening, below is timeline of tweets walking through the special night.

Upon entering the arena, the first 10,000 fans in attendance received a special edition Kevon Looney Stormtrooper Bobblehead.

Inside Chase Center, fans were greeted a number of photo opportunities including a beckoning Star Wars visual, equipped with color-changing lightsabers.

The festivities continued as Darth Vader rang the customary pregame cable car bell, to tipoff the night.

The Warriors Dance Team maintained in theme, putting on a special Star Wars performance in Princess Leia-esque outfits.

Though the force was not with the Dubs, who came up short in Wednesday’s overtime loss to the Knicks, it was undoubtedly a celebratory night on Warriors Ground.
