GAME LEADERS

The Warriors fell behind early and never recovered as their 12-game winning streak came to an end with a 107-92 loss to the Spurs on Easter Sunday in San Antonio.

Playing the back end of a back-to-back, the Dubs were a step slow from the opening tip. They went more than three and a half minutes before making their first field goal, Stephen Curry missed a free throw for the second straight game (he had made more than 50 straight before this weekend) and three of the five starters shot worse than 30 percent.

While the Warriors suffered a slow start, the Spurs were pretty much the opposite. Led by the overall play of Kawhi Leonard and sharpshooting from Danny Green, the reigning NBA champs sprinted out of the gates and took a 29-11 lead in the first quarter. San Antonio went on to lead by as many as 28 points before the Warriors reserves made the score a little more respectable with a fourth quarter run.
